Dlaczego wyrażenie regularne powinno być wpisywane z separatorami?

Dzieje się tak dlatego, że wpisywanie wzorca z uwzględnieniem separatorów pozwala na dodanie modyfikatorów do niego. W wypadku ich braku skrypt domyślnie doda / na początku wyrażenia i / na jego końcu.

Czy mogę dodawać jakąkolwiek treść do testera?

For ease of your understanding I will explain it in terms of DC machines (DC motor and DC generator). You could take a look at Induction machines after understanding the basics of DC machines.

In construction, electrical generators and motors have the same structures:
- A permanent magnet fixed on a rotating shaft
- A commutator
- Core and winding (this is where the electrical current is induced)
- brush/contact (for DC machines)

When you turn a DC motor, current will be induced in the winding, thus it is acting as a generator. If you pass a current through the generator, the shaft will turn, and thus, it is acting as a DC motor.

If you consider the general structures (of a DC machine) without optimized electrical components, the motor and generator is practically the same thing.

Generally in the power plants we see synchronous generators there you will observe that sometimes generator operating as a motor as well as generator as well as induction machines depending upon the conditions. When the generator operates as a motor it takes the power from the grid which is not much reliable for the company. Depending upon the frequencies of plant and grid as well the condition changes

Consider a pumped storage hydro-electric station. It has upper and lower water reservoirs, and a turbine impeller connected to the shaft of a motor-generator which is connected to the grid. When the grid needs power, the unit is run as a turbine-generator using water from the upper reservoir to run the unit. When the grid has excess power, the unit is run as a motor-pump which pumps water from the lower reservoir into the upper reservoir.

Generally in the power plants we see synchronous generators there you will observe that sometimes generator operating as a motor as well as generator as well as induction machines depending upon the conditions. When the generator operates as a motor it takes the power from the grid which is not much reliable for the company. Depending upon the frequencies of plant and grid as well the condition changes

Consider a pumped storage hydro-electric station. It has upper and lower water reservoirs, and a turbine impeller connected to the shaft of a motor-generator which is connected to the grid. When the grid needs power, the unit is run as a turbine-generator using water from the upper reservoir to run the unit. When the grid has excess power, the unit is run as a motor-pump which pumps water from the lower reservoir into the upper reservoir.
